Who is FC Destructions?
FC Destructions (Pty) Ltd (FCD) was founded in 2006 by Mr. Frik Crause, a former South African Police Service (SAPS) Bomb Disposal Expert and Explosives Control Commander.
FCD is a specialized company distinguished by its extensive experience, technical expertise, and tailored service delivery. Our approach ensures that each client receives solutions specifically designed to meet their operational requirements while remaining fully compliant with all applicable legislation.

FCD is VAT registered, BBBEE compliant, and a member of the National Institute of Explosives Technology South Africa (NIXT SA).
FCD comprises of highly experienced SAPS-registered destruction blasters:
- Frik Crause
- Willem Ackermann
- Adriaan van Graan
- Attie Ackermann
Collectively, the team has over 80 years of experience in explosives control, bomb disposal, and related disciplines. Members have served extensively within SAPS as Inspectors of Explosives and Bomb Disposal Technicians.
The team has also operated internationally in regions including the Middle East, Sudan, and Iraq, before returning to South Africa to contribute their expertise locally.
Frik was the Regional Commander of the Bomb Disposal and Explosives Control Unit for the Northwest and Free State Provinces.
Willem was a senior member of the Bomb Disposal and Explosives Control Unit at the Potchefstroom office.
Adriaan is a former member of the SANDF and also worked in the corporate world for more than 15 years.
Attie joined us recently after extensive training in the handling of all kinds of explosives, de-mining and destruction of explosives.
